Till now this phobia is still following me, like a shadow. From that day onwards, dolls that were given to me were placed in a cupboard that I will never open. My mother once bought a baby doll that she thought would make me pleased, thinking that I would react like those typical little girls, she handed me the doll and I started crying. She was confused, and questioned me for my unexpected reaction. I, then explained the reason to her. The phobia was than recognized by her. Since then, some of my relative still bought dolls for me, although I was unhappy about them buying me dolls, my mum said it is basic politeness for me to thank them. Though it is a unappreciated present. I don’t understand why people like to buy dolls for little girls. I am really happy that now, no one will give me dolls as presents anymore. All dolls, no matter how cute people say they are, all of them give me the creeps. Please do not give me any dolls, as now, it would end up in the rubbish bin. Labels: Shannon does not drink tea.
