Hurricane Katrina had the most devastating impact on Louisiana where it damaged the Louisiana’s wetlands. It is unlikely that the vegetation in the marshes will grow back. Vegetation along water sources have disappeared. Remainding remains have turned an unhealthy brown shade. Katrina affected the local sea harvests. US had to increase the oyster imports from other countries. Thousands of fisherman who depended on the oyster industry find themselves jobless and unsettled. Floodwater in the city became contaminated. The disaster also disturbed underground gas and oil tanks. Also causing sewer leaks and gas pipes further contaminating the floodwater. Human corpses and dead pets further raised the risk of bacterial contamination. there are plans to place dredged material for a platform for the plants to grow on. The Louisiana Coastal Area Ecosystem Restoration Plan is also planning to rebuild barrier islands and replant lost marsh grass. Labels: summary 2

today Janina Pietrasiak and Maria Lopuszanska live like sisters. They meet daily and help each other out. Both of them live alone and are not affluent. Maria's parents were underground anti-Naziactivists. They sheltered Janina and her mother. However, her mother died of tuberculosis. The young Janina clung desperately to her new family. She was baptized to become part of the family to avoid being detected and killed by the Nazis. she even gave up the opportunity to live with her uncle in the United States. During the Warsaw Uprising, the girls had to fend for themselves as, maria's father was sick and her mother was demonstrating by the Nazis. Maria was like a mother to the younger Janina as she have lost both parents. Her only sibling survived the war but later committed suicide. Both Janina and maria suffered from cancer. Janina was separated and maria is a widow. She contacted the Yad Vashem Holocast museum in Jerusalem to recognise Maria and her parents for saving her during the WWI. To be an interior designer, I will have to be discipline, in order to accomplish assignments before the deadlines. I would love to take up the challenge. If you were to ask me, why i want to be a interior designer, my answer will be very simple. I want people to own their house to feel happy, enjoyable and relax in their own apartment. I want them to look forward to going home and not dread entering their own home. I will want all my customers to look at their homes with smiles on their faces. I would also want my home to be my private heaven too! :)
