most did not think of that as their role, not even cross their minds. People would not even engage in Kyoto Protocol. A few western nations are coping; however they are having trouble meeting their reduction targets. The developing world is starting to flood the atmosphere with carbon dioxide. Environmentalism’s method of handling global warming is flawed. Endless economic growth is built on the use of cheap fossil fuels. Now, the same fuels that gave us our growth, threatens our civilization. Carbon dioxide has no study that ever found any indication of improvement as living standards rise. We have to care more about our environment, not our economy growth. Thus, we would need to change dramatically and see ourselves differently. We should not only take action when an issue only makes the economy larger and care more about our environment, not only our economy growth Our identity and desire would have to shift.
